LAHORE: The Lahore Tax Bar Association President Munsha Sukhera and General Secretary Qamar Uzman have welcomed the decision of the government for extending the date of filing the income tax returns.
The association hoped that it will facilitate the taxpayers on one hand and on the other hand it will augment the revenue in the government treasury.
On Friday, they told Customs Today that it is high time that government should also settle the issue of withholding tax on bank transactions.
He said that the industry and textile sector is at the moment is confronted a number of problems and needs to be supported by the government.
