FBR declares Bazarcha Border, Taftan as Customs Port for clearance of goods

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) declared Bazarcha Border Terminal, Taftan as a Pakistan Customs Port for the purpose of clearance of goods.

In this regard, the FBR issued SRO 427(I)/2022 to declare Bazarcha Border Terminal, Taftan, measuring 30 acres land, to be a customs-port for the purpose of loading, unloading and clearance of goods or any class of goods imported or to be exported, which customs-station is surrounded to the—

 (a) north, by Christian Colony, FC Qilla and Railway Line, (Latitude-28°58’12.75348″N), (Longitude-61°33’21.09492″E);

(b) south, by Zero Point Gate ((Latitude-28°58’3 .08028″N), (Longitude-61°33’28.5624″E);

 (c) east, by Tube Well of Haji Akbar ((Latitude-28°58’5.00736″N), (Longitude-61°33’45.05796″E); and

(d) west, by Iran Border, (Latitude-28°58’8.472″N), (Longitude-61°33’18.81648″E).

The FBR said that the entry and exit of the vehicles shall be from western side of Bazarcha Border Terminal at designated point (Latitude-28°58’8.472″N, Longitude-61°33’18.81648″E) and this border crossing point shall exclusively be for cargo vehicles.
