FBR deputes team in Lahore Broast for recovery of Rs 3.1m tax

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) deputed a receiver on cash counter of the Lahore Broast to collect tax directly. Lahore Broast is tax defaulter of Rs 3.1 million.

According to the details, Lahore Broast is allegedly involved in tax evasion of Rs 3.1 million in tax years 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Commissioner Inland Revenue Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) Karamat Ullah issued many notice to Lahore Braost for the payment of tax liabilty but Lahore Broast failed to clear the pending tax amount.

Consequently, Regional Tax Office deputed their officiels on cash counter of Lahore Broast for collection of tax. The RTO officials will perform their duties in two shifts from 4pm to 8pm and 8pm to 12pm.

Income Tax Inspectors Tariq Baig, Shiekh Khalil, Tahir Butt and Shabbir Rizvi are posted at Lahore Broast for tax recovery.
