FBR employees welcome Nisar Khan as new chairman

PESHAWAR: Federal Revenue Alliance Employees Union Peshawar President Irshad Baghi welcomed the appointment of Nisar Muhammad Khan as new chairman of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and hoped that he will address the problems of the employees regarding allowances and service structure.

Talking to Customs Today, he said that Nisar has also been collector of Peshawar and member of the board, adding that his appointment will bring major reforms in the department.

Baghi said that performance allowance that was granted to employees earlier motivated them to perform their duties diligently.

He said that employees were receiving performance allowance and on the basis of that allowance they were demonstrating good efficiency in discharging their services.

He added that several departments were allocating son quota for employees but the lower cadre employees has been kept deprived of this son quota. He informed that the employees are also facing problems of service structure and due to lack of any up-gradation these employees retired in the same grade.

He appealed to FBR chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan to address their issues to facilitate the employees.
