FBR establishes helpline for complaints against corrupt staff

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) department has established “Integrity Management Cell” for complaints against any staff members.

Sources told Customs Today that after several complaints surfaced in media about unnecessary harassment and pressure by inland revenue staff against traders community, it was decided to establish a helpline to sort out these issue on priority basis.

Sources told that anyone can complaint on 111772772 for registration of their complaint against any staff member. Sources told that the data of complainant will be kept secret and investigations will be launched on the basis of available evidences.

Sources told that customs higher officials were receiving complaints from different quarters of traders and industrial community that few black sheep are continuously harass with without any reason after receiving such complaints FBR decided to establish helpline for redressal of their complaints.
