ISLAMABAD: In exercise of the power conferred under section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to extend the date of filing of income tax returns/statements for the Tax Year 2019 as under:-
1) The date of filling of Total Income / Statements of final taxation for individuals and Association of Persons for the Tax Year 2019 Which were 30th September,2019, extended up to 16th December, 2019 and extended up to 31st December, 2019 is hereby further extended up to 31st January, 2020.
2) The date of filling of total income / statements of final taxation for companies for the Tax Year 2019 which were 30th September, 2019, extended up to 16th December, 2019 and extended up to 31st December, 2019, in respect of those companies who have paid ninety five percent (95%) of the admitted tax liability on or before 31.12.2019 is hereby further extended up to 31st January, 2020.
