ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Second Secretary STM IR (Operations) Khalid Mehmood issued notification for extension in submission of sales tax (ST) and federal excise duty (FED) for the tax period of August.
The notification read that in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 74 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 and Section 43 of the Federal Excise Act, 205, the Federal Board of Revenue is please to extend the date for submission of sales tax and federal excise duty for the tax period of August 2019 which was due on 18.9.2019 is hereby extended up to 20.9.2019.
