Further, the taxpayers have been allowed to file sales tax and federal excise monthly returns up to May 15, 2020 for the months January, February and March 2020.

The FBR has been extending the date in order to facilitate the taxpayers to discharge their liabilities.

However, cases of coronavirus were reported in February and subsequently lockdown was imposed in March, which resulted in halt of business activities.
