FBR extends warehousing period of in-bonded goods up to July 31

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the warehousing period of already in-bonded goods up to July 31, 2020.

The FBR issued SRO 616(I)/2020 on Monday to announce the extension of existing warehousing period of already in-bonded goods for a further period up to July 31, 2020.

Further, to remit the penal surcharge in the case of goods which are cleared from the warehouse within the period starting from the date of issuance of this notification and ending on July 31, 2020.

The FBR said that the notification shall not apply to the goods which have since been abandoned or auctioned under the rules.
