FBR field formations to remain open on Sunday

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) referred the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) a letter on Thursday that all field offices will remain open and observe extended working hours till 8pm on December 30, 2017 and till 10pm on December 31, 2017 for collection of duty/taxes.

The notification was sent to Chief Collector (CC) of Customs Appraisement/Enforcement South Karachi, Chief Collector of Customs (Central Lahore, North Islamabad), Collector MCCs Appraisement-West/East/Exports-Customs House/Export-Post Qasim/Preventive/Port Qasim Karachi, Collector MCCs  Islamabad/Sambrial Multan (Appraisement and Preventive Lahore, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Quetta, Peshawar, Gwadar, Gilgit Baltistan) and Director Reforms and Automation Custom House Karachi.
