FBR team leaves for Dushanbe to attend moot regarding use of chemicals in locally made bombs

ISLAMABAD: The delegation of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has left for programme of World Customs Organization regarding the prevention of chemicals used in locally made bombs. The conference is organised by Global Shield in Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan. The conference will start from January 28. South Asian countries including Pakistan, India and China will participate in the conference. The delegation of FBR consists of Collector Appraisement West Muhammad Saleem from Karachi, Peshawar Directorate Customs Intelligence and Investigation director Ziaullah Shams, Peshawar Model Customs Collectorate Deputy Collector Adeem Khan, Islamabad Model Customs Collectorate Deputy Collector Yawar Nawaz and Lahore Model Customs Collectorate Assistant Collector Rana Muhammad Adnan. Collector Appraisement West Muhammad Saleem will lead the delegation and will give presentation of 30 minutes duration on chemicals used in local made bombs. The conference aims to curb smuggling of these chemicals and a separate department will also be established in this regard. The conference will end on January 29.
