ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has formulated a strategy to reduce rising smuggling fears during Eid holidays.
In this regard, Pakistan Customs field formations has been fully mobilised, and employees and officers could not take additional leave.
The Customs Operations Wing has issued regular orders to Customs field formations.
All staff will report to their respective offices on 3rd and 4th April immediately after Eid.
The Federal Board of Revenue issued orders to all employees to report to field formations immediately after Eid. FBR also sent a special letter to heads of field formations.
Customs field formations will continue strict monitoring at the entry and exit points of the city immediately after Eid.
Directions have also been issued to utilise all resources to stop the process of smuggling.
