FBR further extends date for filing income tax returns up to 15th

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has further extended the last date for filing income tax returns up to December 15.

According to the Circular No. 17, the FBR extended the date from November 30 to December 15 for filing annual income tax return for tax year 2016. The date has been extended for salaried individuals, business individuals, persons falling in final tax returns and corporate entities having special tax year.

Under the circular, the date of filing of returns of total income/statement of final taxation which was due on August 31, 2016 (already extended up to November 30) has been further extended till December 15.

The date of filing of returns of total income/statement of final taxation which was due on September 30 (already extended up to November 30) for Individuals and Associations of Persons has been further extended till December 15.

The date of filing of returns of total income/statement of final taxation of companies whose returns were due on September 30 (already extended up to November 15) has been further extended till is December 15.
