LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has received more tax returns in the first half of the Financial Year 2015-16 as compared with previous Financial Year 2014-15.
FBR sources told Customs Today that taxpayers filed more returns in the first half of Financial Year 2015-16 as compared to previous year. Sources said that Integrated Risk Management System (IRIS) is main reason for filing more tax returns.
Sources said that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced more facilities for those whose name fall in Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and they will avail 50 percent discount on token tax and registration of vehicle. Tax payers will also avail concessions on banking transactions.
