FBR granted time to implement federal tribunal’s decision

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board or Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday has been granted two more months to implement order given by the Federal Service Tribunal.

Tribunal bench, comprising Members, Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Syed Rafique Hussain granted the demanded two month time to FBR while hearing a case filed for implementation of tribunal decision pertaining to the promotion of Muslim Khan.

As the hearing commenced, the counsel for FBR stated before the bench that FBR was about to settle the matter, and demanded the court two months for finalizing. Hearing of the case was adjourned to date in office.

Muslim Khan, an FBR employee had filed the case at FST and attained decision in his favor which was pending with FBR for implementation.

Meanwhile, same bench heard another FBR related cases filed by Muhammad Ushaq. Ushaq, another FBR employee, had submitted complain relating to seniority matter. The bench adjourned hearing of the case till October 10.
