FBR hails performance of Broadening of Tax Base zone

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has lauded the outstanding performance of the Broadening of Tax Based (BTB) zone Lahore.

According to sources, Broadening of Tax Based zone showed outstanding performance by registering more taxpayers and collecting more taxes from other zones during the current financial year 2015-16.

Source added that Broadening of Tax Based zone Lahore registered around 100,000  new taxpayers who own more then 1300cc cars and properties in the city.

Sources said that management of BTB using all available resources to generate more revenue. They are quite optimistic to achieve revenue generation target before the end of current fiscal year 2015-16.
