ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has told the Supreme Court that it has prepared a model to introduce a centralised system for maintaining of cases record.
During the hearing of a case, the Board’s counsel told the SC that as many as 135 cases were delayed due to field formation. The court expressed satisfaction over the FBR report and adjourned hearing of the case for an indefinite period.
The division bench of the apex court comprising Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and Justice Gulzar Ahmad also directed the FBR to submit concise reply over a case regarding pendency of tax matters cases since long and adjourned hearing of a case for an indefinite period.
