ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notices to all taxpayers under section 114 for the fiscal year 2014 and asked them to submit their tax returns as early as possible.
The main reason to issue these notices are to remind them that they should avail this last chance to get included in active taxpayers’ list.
Sources told Customs Today that a final list will be prepared till September 1, 2015. All those taxpayers who cleared their outstanding amount till August 31, 2015 will be included in the list. Sources further told Customs Today that this is the last chance that they should avail half rate benefit of withholding tax.
