FBR issues corrigendum

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has issued a corrigendum regarding transfer/posting of three officers.

As per the corrigendum, the transfer/posting of Amir Ali Khan Talpur, an Inland Revenue Service officer of BS-20, made vide Board’s Notification No. 2508-IR-I/2016 dated 14.10.2016 at Sr. No. 13 has been held in abeyance. Shahid Mehmood Sheikh (IRS/BS-19), presently posted as Commissioner-IR (OPS) (Zone-II), Regional Tax Office, Sukkur, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Chief Commissioner-IR, Regional Tax Office, Sukkur till the posting of a regular incumbent. The place of posting of Dr Fazal Muhammad Abrejo (IRS/BS-20) in Board’s Notification No. 2508-IR-I/2016 dated 14.10.2016 at Sr. No. 9 may be read as Director General (OPS), Valuation-IR, FBR stationed at Karachi instead of DG (OPS), IOCO-IR, stationed at Karachi.
