ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a fee recovery notice of Rs 30,000 to a lawyer Mujeeb ur Rehman.

Actually the case was given to Mujeeb ur Rehman Kiani but due to the resemblance in name, the fee was paid to another lawyer Mujeeb ur Rehman Warraich. Secondly, fee of the case was Rs 4000 but Rs 30000 were paid due to misconception as it was a follow-up case instead of new one. The fee of a new case in civil court is Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 in high court.
