FBR issues final tax notices to Public Health Engineering & Land Revenue Office

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office (RTO) has issued final tax notices to Public Health Engineering Shujabad and Land Revenue Office Cantonment for the recovery of outstanding taxes.

Sources told Customs Today that the RTO has issued income tax notices to Public Health Engineering Shujabad and Land Revenue Office Cantt region for non-payment of their outstanding taxes.

Public Health Engineering Shujabad has been tax defaulter of Rs602000 for not paying taxes on their different water projects for rural areas after awarding tenders to contractors and their taxes for the current economic year 2018-19 are still pending from last few months.

RTO has also issued another final tax notice to Inland Revenue of Cantonment area.  Inland Revenue Cantonment has been defaulter of Rs1.56 million. Regional Tax Office Inland Revenue has started action against them for the recovery of due taxes and they have been asked to pay their due taxes before 30 April.

The Regional Tax Office Multan is taking strict action against defaulters to meet the assigned revenue task of April  and the RTO has also decided to attach the official bank accounts  in case if they failed to deposit taxes in given period.
