FBR issues notification for promotion of 9 IRS officers from BS-19 to BS-20 on regular basis

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notification for promotion of following officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS)  from BS-19 to BS-20 on regular basis:

  1. Nadeem Bashir
  2. Nadeem Babar
  3. Abbdul Shakoor Shaikh
  4. Muhammad Asad Tahir
  5. Asif Rasheed
  6. Noman Malik
  7. Said Munaf
  8. Muhammad Shamim
  9. Imran Hayee Khan

The officers already posted/working against BS-20 posts on OPS basis will actualize their promotions against their present places of posting. For actualization of promotion of officers at Sr. No. 9, the post is personally upgraded vide Board’s notification No. 2857-IR-I/2021 dated 3.12.2021 to enable him to assume charge of  BS-20 ost on promotion.

The officers upon promotion will be on probation in terms of Section 6 (2) of the Civil Servants Act, 1973 read with Rule 21 of the Civil Servants (appointment, promotion and transfer), Rules 1973.

The officers if drawing special allowance prior to this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on their promotion.

FBR congratulates the aforementioned officers on their promotion.
