FBR issues tax notice of Rs37.8m to MNA Malik Amir Dogar

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office (RTO) has issued tax notice to Member National Assembly Malik Amir Dogar for non-payment of Rs37.8 million taxes of Rajistan Banquet Hall.

According to details, Member National Assembly Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar is owner of Rajistan Banquet Hall located near Mumtazabad Road and he has not paid its due taxes.

Malik Amir Dogar was elected from constituency 149 from ticket of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in general election of 2018. The Regional Tax Office sent several notices to Member National Assembly Malik Muhammad Dogar for the payment of outstanding taxes but he did not reply to any notice.

The Federal Board of Revenue directed Regional Tax Office to recover the tax from evaders including Member National Assembly Malik Amir Dogar to meet the assigned revenue task and Chief Commissioner Abid Raza Bodhla has issued tax notices to tax evaders.

The Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Multan directed Inland Revenue staff to take stern action against the non-compliance if they did not deposit their taxes within time.

The Regional Tax Office has issued several tax notices to Member National Assembly Malik Amir Dogar for the recovery of their due taxes and asked him to pay his taxes immediately otherwise strict action will be taken for the collection of taxes.
