KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) suspended the previous orders and issued new notifications of the postings of officers from BS-17 to BS-20 and authorised chief collectors to make postings from BS-1 to BS-16 officials under SRO 581(I)/2013.
The FBR said that as a transition measure in public interest, the places of posting of all BS-17 to BS-20 officers posted in previous Model Customs Collectorates of Appraisement, Karachi are renamed as Model Customs Collectorates of Appraisement-West and Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement-East, Custom House, Karachi, respectively.

The FBR further stated that on one time delegation basis, the Chief Collector of Customs, Enforcement (South) and Chief Collector of Customs, Appraisement (South), Karachi are jointly authorised to relocate BS-1 to BS-16 officers/officials of all cadres posted previously in Model Customs Collectorates of Appraisement, PaCCS & Exports, Karachi, within the aforesaid three new Collectorates keeping in view the requirements so that the public work runs smoothly.
