FBR, JETRO hold seminar on Finance Act

KARACHI: The Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR), the Consulate General of Japan in Karachi and Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) have organised a seminar on “Analyzing the major amendments in income and sales taxes taken in the Finance Act 2017.”

The objective of the seminar was to deliver a briefing to the Japanese companies based in Pakistan about the new income and sales tax for the new fiscal year. The seminar comprised briefing sessions by JETRO and FBR from the viewpoint to support Japanese companies to run well their businesses in Pakistan under the new financial act.
