FBR launches Helpline for 2026 Income Tax Return filing assistance

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has launched a dedicated technical support service to assist taxpayers experiencing problems while filing their Income Tax Returns for Tax Year 2026.

In a post shared on X, the tax authority announced that a specialised technical team has been assigned to resolve return filing issues and provide prompt assistance to taxpayers.

According to the FBR, taxpayers facing technical difficulties during the filing process can report their issues by emailing [email protected].

The tax authority said the dedicated support team will respond to all reported complaints within 24 hours, aiming to ensure a smoother and more efficient return filing experience.

The initiative has been introduced to provide faster technical support and minimise disruptions for taxpayers submitting their annual income tax returns online.

FBR has advised taxpayers to use the dedicated email channel whenever they encounter system-related issues while filing their Tax Year 2026 returns.
