FBR launches new reforms & restructuring plan for stock taking of state warehouses

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)’s launched new reform and restructuring plan for stock taking and automation of state warehouse all over the country including Multan Customs Collectorate.

The Federal Board of Revenue Secretary Enforcement & Coordination Syed Mehmood Hassan has undertaken various reforms /initiatives which are important for transforming Pakistan Customs into a vibrant, friendly and proficient organization.

The Federal Board of Revenue has assigned task to Multan Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) to prepare business specification requirement document and to coordinate with Directorate of Reforms & Automation Karachi for development of requisite module of WeBOC.

The confiscated goods shall be allotted unique case wise warehouse registration number. The goods arrived in the State warehouse will be entered in the record by manager warehouse. The amendment in the inventory of state warehouse shall only be done through User ID of concerned assistant collector/deputy collector in-charge state warehouse will maintain the record of inventory regarding the description, weight, condition, case history and approximate value of goods in the system.

The picture of lying goods of state warehouse will be uploaded on the system. The auction of state warehouse goods will be conducted through e-auction module. Warehouse manager will perform the role of custodian of e-auction module. The warehouse will be updated about the delivery of goods through auction or any other shifting to another Customs Warehouse.
