FBR to transfer officers from Sialkot in December

SIALKOT: A plan is underway to transfer officers of grade 16 to 19 from the Model Customs Collectorate, Sialkot by the mid of the next month, December 2016.

Sources told Customs Today that the higher authorities of the department were preparing a list of the officers, who are going to be transferred from the region, adding that list will be forwarded to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan during first week of December for approval. The FBR would issue notification after receiving the list and consulting with Customs member and other authorities.

Additional Collector Fiaz Ali, Deputy Collector Waheed Anwar Abro, Deputy Collector Muhammad Hanif, Superintendents Sardar Manzoor and Muhammad Afzal Raza would be transferred, the sources said, adding that transfer will be made on a routine basis. All officials will be bound to relinquish charge within seven days after receiving of transfer orders.
