KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started making reforms in Pakistan Customs at higher level in order to meet revenue shortfall, curb corruption and enhance transparency.
The FBR has said that promotions and reward will be awarded to the officers of BS17-21 following their performance. Besides, strict direction have been issued to all officials to perform their duties with honesty and diligently.
According to latest instructions, the chief collectors have been asked to highlight the officials who are involved in illegal works and send a report to the FBR.
