FBR Member Customs Operations Jawwad Agha to visit Customs House today

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Customs Operations Dr. Jawwad Uwais Agha will visit Customs Central Region today.

Sources told Customs Today that during his visit Member Customs Operations will hold meeting with Chief Collector Customs Central Region Zeba Hai Azhar and will review performance of the Collectorate up to May 2019.

Sources told that Member Customs Operations will also interact with heads of field formations and will review their measures regarding revenue collection up to June 2019 in order to meet the assigned targets.

On Saturday Member Customs Operations will visit Collectorate of Customs Preventive Lahore and will hold meeting with Collector Ahmed Rauf to review performance of the Collectorate. During visit of Member Customs Operations, Collector Ahmed Rauf will apprise him about the strategy against smuggling and enhance revenue collections.

It is necessary to mention here that Customs Central Region is working hard and using all available resources to achieve the revenue collection target assigned by Federal Board of Revenue.
