FBR Member Customs Zahid Khokhar for stern action against habitual late comers

ISLAMABAD: Member Customs Federal Board of Revenue Muhammad Zahid Khokhar has taken serious notice of late comers and directed to all heads of the field formations and subordinate offices to ensure strict compliance of office timing.

According to the details, on the direction of FBR Chairman Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Khokhar has written a letter to offices, including chief collectors, director generals, collectors of customs and directors that the all heads should personally take stock of the situation, thereby ensuring that the office timing are strictly adhered in future and the disciplinary proceedings on account of “ misconduct” may be initiated against the habitual late comers under the Government Servants Efficiency & Discipline Rules 1973.

He also conveyed them that any violation of any service rules and discipline will not be tolerated therefore strictly follow the orders and instruction of chairman office and Federal Board of Revenue regarding the compliance on discipline.

He also instructed them that all without any discrimination, including officers of higher grade and staff will equally follow the rules. He asked them that all Model Customs Collectorates will make sure the compliance on biometric attendance system and if habitual late comers founds the violation of timings their internal job posting allowance may be cancelled.
