FBR Member FATE Hamid Ateeq Sarwar to head PMDU

ISLAMABAD: On directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Revenue Division has formed a new department named Prime Minister Directive Unit (PMDU) while Member FATE Federal Board of Revenue will head the unit.

Sources told Customs Today that PMDU received about 1012 complains during one week, these complains are related with FBR field formations and other government offices.

Deputy Director IRS Sonia is working as its focal person, while Shahrukh Butt of Customs Department is performing his responsibilities as administration officer of PMDU.

The source said that the PMDU has received 1012 complaints on different issues during last week while after scrutinizing the complaints, the staff of PMDU sent these complaints related with FBR field office and other complaints relating with other departments respectively.

The PMDU office is situated at FBR building Islamabad while staff members include Mussarat Jabeen, Saeed ur Rehman, Maria Humaira, M.Arshad and Numan Munir who are maintaining the data of complaints filed by the general public relating with FBR field office and other governmental offices.
