FBR Member IR Operations Dr Irshad to visit RTO, LTU today

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Inland Revenue (Operations) Dr Mohammad Irshad will visit Regional Tax Office (RTO) and Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) Lahore on Wednesday (today).

Sources told Customs Today that during his visit, the FBR member will hold talks with chief commissioner and other relevant officials of the department. He will also review revenue collection measures adopted by both departments. He will address the officials and staff of the RTO and LTU.

Sources said that he will suggest some measures to improve performance of Regional Tax Office and Large Taxpayers Unit. He will also seek proposals from both departments which led to enhancement of revenue collection. Sources said that during his visit all officials of these departments will finalize a strategy that will help to generate more revenue during current fiscal year. Sources said that Member FBR Dr. Mohammad Irshad will visit other RTOs and LTUs in near future.
