SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will not exempt the income tax returns from audit, which were filed during the financial year 2014-15.

He said that the information about exemption of tax returns pertaining to 2014-15 from audit being disseminated through print and electronic media is not based on facts.
He further revealed that no such suggestion is under consideration of the authorities at present. He warned that legal action will be taken against those who do not file their tax returns till the closure of current financial year and untitled accounts of such persons will be seized.
