FBR offices to remain open till midnight on 30th

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs), Corporate Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) to remain open and observe extended working hours till 12:00am (midnight) on Monday (September 30) to facilitate the taxpayers in payment of duties & taxes and filing of Income Tax Returns/ Statements.

According to the FBR’s instructions to the field formations, the Chief Commissioners-IR are requested to establish liaison with State Bank of Pakistan and authorized branches of National Bank of Pakistan to ensure transfer of tax collection by these branches on 30.09.2019 to the respective branches of State Bank of Pakistan on the same date so as to account for the same towards the collection for the month of September, 2019 as per State Bank of Pakistan’s letter dated 26.09.2019.
