FBR Chairman Dr Irshad announces early status of Regional Taxation Office to Gujrat

GUJRAT: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Dr Irshad has announced the early status of Regional Taxation Office (RTO) to Gujrat, saying that the early RTO status to Gujrat would help resolve the problems faced by local business community.

Addressing the participants after inaugurating the newly established office of the Commissioner Inland Revenue at Gujrat, he also pledged to make all out efforts to promote working relationship between the FBR officials and the taxpayers.

Dr Irshad said that the FBR officials should promote leniency with good ethics and manners for winning the confidence of the taxpayers besides bringing the maximum people under the tax net. He also pledged to resolve the problems being faced by the FBR employees on priority besides providing them the residences and new official vehicles as well.

Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Sialkot Syed Imran Raza Kazmi, Chief IO (Operations) Yousaf Haider Sheikh and other senior officials were also attended this prestigious ceremony. Earlier, the Gujrat district had been working under the regional taxation office (RTO) Sialkot.
