ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued instructions for promotion against BS-16 posts.
In a notification issued to all chief commissioners of Regional Tax Offices (RTOs), Large Taxpayers Units (LTUs) and all directors general of Inland Revenue Service, the FBR said that all promotion cases which are required to be dealt/processed in FBR Headquarter, Islamabad against BS-16 posts of promotions quota should be furnished to the board along with following information/ documents:
- Final/updated seniority list of each BS-16 cadre/post.
- Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) for the last five years up to June 30, 2017 of senior most officials at leave panel of two officials for each post.
- Certificate to the effect that no disciplinary / criminal case is pending against the concerned officials.
- Latest vacancy position of each cadre.
The FBR directed that the information/documents should be furnished to board within twenty days.
