Addressing the participants, Abdul Hameed Abro delivered a detailed presentation on the significance of timely and voluntary tax compliance, describing it as a fundamental responsibility of both individuals and corporate entities. He urged taxpayers to ensure transparency and accuracy while filing income tax and sales tax returns, cautioning that delays and misreporting undermine the country’s economic stability and long-term interests.

Abro also explained key tax laws and regulations, encouraging participants to fulfil their tax obligations voluntarily and on time. He noted that outreach initiatives such as these seminars form part of the FBR’s broader strategy to expand the tax base through public awareness and education, with the ultimate objective of increasing national revenue and strengthening the tax system.

The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which participants sought clarification on various tax-related issues. The management of Al Rahim Group of Companies appreciated the FBR’s efforts to enhance tax awareness and promote compliance.

At the conclusion of the event, FBR officials presented commemorative souvenirs to the host organisation in recognition of its cooperation and support in arranging the seminar.
