FBR promotes 29 IRS officers to BS-19, another 21 get temporary promotion

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday notified promotion of 29 officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) from BS-18 to BS-19 on regular basis.

The promotions have been made on the recommendations of Departmental Selection Board (DSB) meeting held on November 26, 2014, which was attended by FBR chairman, Member Admin, Additional Secretary Law Division and Additional Secretary Establishment Division.

The officers included: Imtiaz Ahmed, Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, Abdul Hameed, Muhammad Nabeel Rana, Muhammad Khalid Jamil, Ms. Ayesha Imran Butt, Ch. Javed Anwar, Ms. Tajamal Bilquis, Rehan Safdar, Ms. Fauzia Adil, Dr. Razi-ur-Rehman Khan, Syed Bahadur Ali, Mumtaz Ahmad, Tariq Hussain Sheikh, Ghulam Sarwar Shah, Abdul Jawwad, Amir Abbas Khan, Abdul Shakoor Shaikh, Ms. Attiya Ali Khan, Ms. Durr-e-Maknoon, Shaheed Mehboob, Muhammad Bilal Malik, Fazal-e-Subhan, Syed Farooq Jamil, Mussarat Ullah Khan, Naib Ali Pathan, Dr. Najeebullah, Iftikhar Amjad, Ms. Zahida Sarfraz.

In another notification, the FBR also promoted the following 21 BS-18 officers to BS-19 on temporary basis against DTL vacancies in their group, the officers included: Waqas Aslam, Naveed Khalid Khan, Abdul Malik Durrani, Rana Waqar Ali, Azhar Erum Memon, Muhammad Nawaz, Javed Iqbal, Ziaullah Khan, Sajjad Amjad, Ms. Uzma Munir, Dr. Saqib Ahmad Khan, Asif Rasheed, Ms. Yasmin Yusuf Khan, Noman Malik, Ms. Shabana Aziz, Said Munaf, Muhammad Shamim, Imran Hayee Khan, Shaukat Hayat, Ms. Sumria Mahmood Qazi, Shahid Soomro.
