FBR promotes customs superintendent & principal appraiser

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notification for promotion of following superintendent and principal appraiser to the post of Assistant Collector (BS-17) in Pakistan Customs Service on regular basis, with immediate effect and until further orders:

  1. Pir Ali Shah, Superintendent, Directorate of IOCO (South) Karachi
  2. Humayun Mukhtar, Principal Appraiser, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement East Lahore

Their promotion will take effect from the date of their joining, subject to the condition that no disciplinary/criminal proceedings are pending/contemplating against them.

The officer appearing at S.No.(i) may actualize his promotion at his present place of posting against the available vacant post of BS-17 and the officer appearing at S.No. (ii) may actualize his promotion at his present place of posting however he will draw his salary against the available vacant post of BS-17 in the Directorate of Customs Valuation, Lahore.

They will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for further period not exceeding one year, provided that if no order is issued the day following the termination of probationary period, the appointment shall deem to be held until further order.

The officers who are already drawing Performance Allowance will continue to draw the same on their promotion.
