LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has provided updated version of Computerized Risk-Based Evaluation of Sales Tax (CREST) to the Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) and Large Taxpayers Unit to ensure sales tax recovery from defaulters.

Sources told Customs Today that the FBR has issued instructions to the chief commissioners to use CREST to increase the recovery of sales tax for the ongoing tax year.
