FBR raids KIPS College for alleged tax evasion

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has raided KIPS College Johar Town and sealed all record of the college, including computers and important files.

Sources told Customs Today that a team of Inland Revenue Lahore raided Johar Town Campus of the college and sealed the record, including countrywide branches of the college. Sources said that the raid was conducted on intelligence information that college is earning millions of rupees every month but avoiding to pay income tax.

Sources also told that FBR has sent many notices to KIPS College for payment of income tax but college did not respond in a proper way. Ultimately FBR raided at their Johar Town campus which is also a head office of the College and sealed all record for investigations. After completion of investigations FBR will make an assessment for their  dues regarding income tax.
