LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax office-II Lahore has recovered Rs 15 million under the head of tax.
As per detail, RTO-II Additional Commissioner Shabih Ul Ijaz and Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akhtar took an action against the tax defaulter company. An American company was selling seeds for crops and did not submit its due taxes to the department. The tax defaulter company was asked to submit taxe and notices were also sent by the department in this regard but to no avail.
Authorities seized the account of company and transferred the liable amount to the national exchequer. While FBR has issued show cause notice to the operational manager of the bank on non cooperation with the board.
