LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Saturday freeze bank accounts of film star Noor and recovered an amount of Rs1,60,000 which was payable against her for Financial Year 2014-15.
According to sources of Customs Today film star Noor is tax defaulter of Rs1.4 million. Federal Board of Revenue recovered the evaded amount of tax from her bank account which she operates in Standard Chartered Bank Defence Housing Society. FBR team which freeze the bank accounts were being supervised by Deputy Commissioner Yasir Butt which Inspector Abdul Jabbar was also part of the team who belonged to Inland Revenue.
It is necessary to mention here that FBR expedited its efforts to recover evaded amount of tax and duty from tax defaulters and for this purpose they using all available legal resources.
