LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) took the action against Footwear Company which was involved in sales tax evasion.
According to Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) sources Ihsan Elahi Footwear Company was found defaulter in sales tax. FBR send many notices to the company, but response was shown by the company.
Ihsan Elahi Footwear Company is manufacturer of different types of shoes and other plastic materials. It was found defaulter of RS 2.28 million sales tax. RTO-I after sending many notices decided to freeze its bank accounts to recover the tax amount. Now RTO-I has recovered Rs 2.28 million after freezing bank account of the company in Habib Metropolitan Bank Defense Housing Authority Branch.
