FBR recovers Rs 789,000 from bank accounts of Industrial Techno Fiberglass

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office has recovered Rs 789,000 from the bank accounts of Industrial Techno Fiberglass who was involved in tax evasion.

According to sources, Industrial Techno International Fiberglass, which is located in Salamatpura, Band Road, Lahore, was involved in sales tax evasion. After receiving intelligence information, a special team of the Regional Tax Office-II took action against the said company and froze its accounts in different bank.

The FBR has recovered an amount of Rs 789,000 from the bank accounts of the company in the wake of sales tax. During the investigation process, it was revealed that its sales, production and total sales that were mentioned in the documents were not real, which made the FBR take strict action against the firm.

A team of the RTO under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Aisam Anwar Kohkar took action against the sales tax defaulter company and recovered the amount from its bank accounts.
