FBR recovers Rs 932m WHT from LDA

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) recovered Rs 932 million under the head of withholding tax from Lahore Development Authority (LDA).

Sources told Customs Today that the FBR recovered the amount from LDA vide Income Tax Ordinance Section 153. Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Tasneem Rehman formed a team comprising Additional Zahid Mehmood and Assistant Commissioner Maheen Hassan to recover the tax.
