ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that the deadline for filing income tax returns for the tax year 2025 will not be extended, officials said Tuesday.

According to the FBR, taxpayers must submit their returns by September 30, 2025, covering the period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. An easy return form has also been issued for individuals and associations of persons.

The return form also requires details of withholding taxes, allowable deductions, tax credits, and reductions. Taxpayers must disclose their bank accounts, properties, and personal assets as part of the filing process, the FBR added.
