FBR reinstates three suspended officials of Port Qasim

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has ordered reinstatement of three officials of BS-16, who were suspended from duties. The reinstated officials are appraiser Mohammad Idrees, appraiser Ghulam Hussain, and appraiser Mohammad Ishaq.

Sourcs told Customs Today that these officials were suspended in August 2014 for six months because some official inquiries were going on against them, but now authorities have decided to reinstate them on temporary basis. Sources further said that prior to this. seven officials who belong to BS 16 were also reinstated, while inquiries against some officials are still in progress.
