FBR restores all allowance of Additional Collector Faiz Ali

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has restored performance and other allowances of Additional Collector Faiz Ali which were suspended due to inquiry against him.

Sources told Customs Today that the inquiry was launched against the additional collector for his alleged involvement in corruption, misappropriation, misconduct and other charges. During the inquiry, FBR Administration Member Majid Qureshi stopped his performance and other allowances. Customs sources said that the Administration Member has acquitted Faiz Ali of all charges after reviewing the inquiry report.

Sources told after acquittal of Additional collector, the Chairman FBR presented report him while recommended that the restore performance and other allowance of Additional Collector which were stopped during inquiry. Chairman FBR reviewed the report of Authorized Officer Administration Member (FBR) then ordered to restore performance and other allowances of Additional Collector. However Majid Qureshi has restored performance and all other allowances of Additional Collector while issued orders for this purpose. Sources told the all charges against Additional Collector have been proved false whereas complainant has not present any proof against him.
